Chicken Noodle Soup

The flu this year has been a beast! My kids just don't seem to be catching any breaks. This is their second go around being sick this winter season and it is no fun! A couple of weeks ago my older brother was sick with the flu as well. I felt horrible for him after hearing how miserable he was feeling. I wanted to do something nice for him, so I thought I would make him some homemade chicken noodle soup. Who doesn't like to eat a warm bowl of soup when they are sick? Not only is it comforting but easy on the stomach. With my kids being sick again, I went ahead and made some up for them tonight. My taste buds have been blown away every time I eat it. I don't think I will ever buy a canned chicken noodle soup again. Although it isn't the fastest meal to make it is so totally worth it.
Chicken Noodle Soup

Ingredients:
3 chicken breasts
6 cups chicken broth
6 cups water
2 chicken bullion cubes
1 Tbsp butter
1  tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp Ms Dash original blend seasoning
1 tsp dried parsley flakes
2  cup diced carrots
1 cup diced celery
1/2 cup diced yellow onion
1 package homemade style egg noodles

Directions:
In a large pot boil chicken breasts in water until cooked. About 20 minutes. Shred chicken once cooked and set aside. In another large pot combine remaining ingredients including the shredded chicken and excluding the egg noodles and let simmer for 30 minutes. While the chicken soup is simmering cook your egg noodles according to the directions on the package. Once the noodles are done, drain them and add to the chicken soup.
